Thanks to the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, you can get the maximum performance out of your infrastructure. Power is conveniently supplied via PoE 802.3af Class 3. This reduces installation effort and enables clean ceiling mounting using the integrated bracket.

Fast Roaming 802.11r and Wireless Mesh 802.11s ensure uninterrupted connections. This means that end devices remain stably online even when switching between access points. This is a clear advantage, especially in offices, retail spaces, or public buildings.

In terms of security, the TAP400 meets professional requirements with WPA3, 802.1x, VLAN separation, DNS over HTTPS, and comprehensive authentication mechanisms. Up to 512 clients can be connected in a controlled and segmented manner. RMS allows you to centrally configure, monitor, and update your devices. Firmware updates via FOTA or remote management save time during operation. With RutOS based on OpenWrt, Web API, and LUA scripting, the access point can be flexibly integrated into existing systems or adapted to specific projects.
