The HELI-31 is part of a series of MiniHELI antennas. These antennas are just mini compared to their larger brethren, making them antennas ideal for mine tunnels where IoT/M2M connectivity is deployed, and can also be used for in-pit coverage. The HELI-31 is an ultra-wideband antenna that radiates in one direction (i.e., unidirectional), making it ideal for coverage from 1700-7200 MHz. These antennas are typically used for tunnel IoT deployments to enable telemetry and mine automation. This broadband helical antenna propagates around tunnel curves in a non-line-of-sight scenario and provides immunity to many signal interfering objects such as trains and drills that appear to obscure the tunnel.
