For use with the SharkFin series GPSD/GPSDC/FINDC antennas, the SAB-224 provides a magnetic mounting solution for antenna testing and propulsion testing.
Using two high performance magnets mounted on an aluminum alloy plate, this is a very simple and quick solution that can be placed anywhere on the vehicle to evaluate the performance of the antennas without the need to drill holes.
NOTE - this solution does not provide a suitable groundplane when using a VHF or UHF whip as part of the antenna configuration.
