The Poynting XPOL-1-5G+ is a cross-polarised, omni-directional 2x2 MIMO antenna built to maximise cellular connectivity outdoors. With an ultra-wide frequency range from 410 to 6000 MHz, it covers legacy LTE networks as well as current 5G NR bands up to 6 GHz, making it future-proof for today's and upcoming network rollouts. This third generation of the popular XPOL-1 series has been fully redesigned with a new enclosure and improved antenna technology.

Antenna Technology & Gain

Two cross-polarised antenna elements in a single compact enclosure deliver 2x2 MIMO for higher data throughput and more stable connections. The antenna reaches a peak gain of up to 6 dBi in a low, unobtrusive profile and covers six frequency bands: 410-470, 617-960, 1427-1517, 1710-2700, 3300-4200 and 4400-6000 MHz.

Ruggedness & Mounting

The fire-resistant enclosure with IP65 protection is designed for permanent outdoor use from -40 to +80 °C. At compact dimensions of 246 x 157 x 88 mm, the antenna mounts to a wall, pole or exterior window using the included mounting kit.

Connection & Scope of Delivery

The antenna connects to the router via two attached, low-loss HDF195 cables of 5 m each, terminated with SMA male connectors. TS9 or U.fl/MHF adapters are available as an option. Ideal when the router is installed indoors or inside a cabinet and an external antenna is needed for stronger reception.

The XPOL-1-5G+ suits Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), home and small office use in urban and suburban environments, small and medium-sized businesses such as retail outlets, petrol stations or guesthouses, temporary offices on construction sites, and reliable backup connectivity for locations using fibre or Starlink as their primary link.
