The Panorama LPW-460-2SP is a flat, rugged UHF antenna designed for use in M2M and smart metering installations. It operates in the LTE450 frequency range from 450 to 465 MHz, provides omnidirectional radiation, and is specifically designed for long-term use in or on meter cabinets. Antenna Technology and Gain

The LPW-460-2SP’s efficient antenna design ensures a reliable initial connection and a consistently stable communication link—even in areas with poor signal coverage. The omnidirectional, vertically polarized radiation covers the 450 to 465 MHz frequency range. The isotropic peak gain is -2 dBi with a VSWR typically below 2.5:1 and an impedance of 50 ohms. The maximum input power is 20 watts.

Mounting and Housing

The antenna can be mounted on both conductive and non-conductive surfaces—without a ground plane. An industrial-grade acrylic adhesive pad (automotive-grade) and two screws (ST/STL 4.8/19 mm) are included for mounting. During panel mounting, the cable can be routed invisibly into the cabinet through a cutout in the adhesive pad. The housing is made of white ASA plastic (RAL 9010) and measures 165 x 32 x 20 mm.

Connection and Cable

The package includes a 2-meter RG178 cable (diameter 1.8 mm) with an SMA connector (male). A version with a FAKRA-D connector (LPW-460-2RFDJ) is available upon request.
