The Kerlink Solar Kit makes the Wirnet iStation M2 LoRaWAN gateway fully independent from the power grid. Combined with the exceptionally low-power M2 gateway (under 1.8 W), the 30 Wp kit reliably powers your gateway wherever no mains connection is available. The compact 30 Wp version is designed for sites with good to moderate light conditions.

Autonomy and availability

The kit provides up to 10 days of autonomy and maintains 100% service availability, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Your LoRaWAN coverage stays uninterrupted even in changing weather or during power fluctuations.

Power supply and connection

The kit includes the 30 Wp solar panel, an internal 12V/320Wh battery and a weatherproof converter with a 12-24V input range. The connection runs efficiently via a USB accessory instead of PoE, minimising conversion losses and extending runtime.

Applications

Ideal for water metering sites, mining areas, islands, desert regions and remote facilities without a power connection, wherever IoT connectivity is needed but no infrastructure is in place.
