Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How many sensors/gateways can this base station handle?
With 16 receive channels and high transmit power, it is ideally suited for network densification - for high sensor or gateway densities in urban and industrial applications.
How weather-resistant is the device?
The base station is IP66-tested and reliably withstands wind, rain, dust and even powerful water jets - perfect for outdoor mounting in demanding conditions.
Is Power over Ethernet (PoE) possible?
Optionally, the device can be powered via PoE. Alternatively, a direct 11-56 V DC supply (accessory) is possible - for flexible installation conditions.
How is the station connected?
Ethernet and cellular (3G/4G) are available for backhaul. The cellular connection uses an external SIM and antennas to ensure maximum flexibility in site selection.
