Kerlink µWiotys License (SRVLIC-WIOTYS05), LoRaWAN-SCADA Integration via Modbus and BACnet

The Kerlink µWiotys software license connects LoRaWAN sensors directly to existing SCADA, BMS and PLC systems. Developed by Kerlink in partnership with Wi6Labs, the solution is aimed at facility and plant managers who want to integrate LoRaWAN technology into their infrastructure in a vendor-agnostic way, without any cloud dependency.

Local Network Integration Without Cloud

µWiotys runs entirely locally on the Kerlink gateway. A standalone LoRaWAN network server is already integrated, no internet connection is required. Collected sensor data is available via HTTP REST API or MQTT broker and is additionally stored locally as CSV files on the gateway.

Modbus and BACnet over IP

The license activates either the Modbus library or the BACnet library in the gateway. This allows LoRaWAN sensor data to be fed directly into common building automation and industrial control systems, without additional middleware or converters. With Modbus, up to 220 LoRaWAN end devices per gateway can be managed, with BACnet up to 255.

Multibrand Device Support and Plug-and-Play

µWiotys is vendor-agnostic: most LoRaWAN sensors available on the market are already integrated into the solution, including full business data decoding of payloads. Bidirectional communication enables not only data acquisition but also remote control functions directly from the SCADA or BMS system. Configuration and updates are handled easily via FTP connection on the local network.

One-Shot License per Gateway

SRVLIC-WIOTYS05 is a one-time purchase license with no recurring subscription costs. It is valid per gateway, enabling predictable and scalable project implementation. The gateway remains remotely manageable via the Kerlink Wanesy Management Cockpit.
