There is a small annual fee for LoRa-2-GLT Software Assurance. The Software Assurance entitles you to the following services:
LoRa-2-GLT gateway is connected to authorized LoRa sensors. However, a LoRa sensor may receive a new firmware update. SW assurance ensures that you are authorized to update the LoRa-2-GLT Gateway to make the product suitable for the latest firmware of these sensors.
The LoRa-2-GLT Gateway is connected to a Building Management System BMS (also known as Building Control System GLT). However, there may be times when a BMS receives a new firmware update. SW assurance ensures that you are authorized to update the LoRa-2-GLT Gateway so that the product is suitable for the latest firmware this BMS version.
Without Software Assurance, such changes/updates will be billed as a chargeable support case according to the applicable hourly rates.
